Civil plan productionDrafting & Design
Civil drafting is where a project stops being an idea and becomes a drawing someone can price, review, and build from. AXE produces the civil sheets — site, grading, drainage, and utility plans — along with the exhibits that support a land-use submittal or an early feasibility conversation. This is civil plan production, not architecture: we draw the site, the grades, and the systems that serve the building, and we coordinate with the architect who designs the building itself.
What we design & deliver.
- Site plans
- Grading design
- Utility services
- Site topography & mapping (LIDAR & GIS)
- Aerial & parcel exhibits
- Current land use & zoning exhibits
- Permit drawing support
- Revisions to existing civil drawings
Civil sheets, permit-ready
Site, grading, drainage, and utility plans drawn to the standards of the jurisdiction reviewing them, so the set reads the way the counter expects rather than needing a translation pass.
Exhibits that answer a question
Aerial, parcel, topographic, and current land-use and zoning exhibits — the drawings you need to explain a site to a lender, a partner, a neighbour, or a planner before design money is committed.
Picking up someone else's drawings
Revisions to existing civil drawings are regular work. If a set has stalled, changed scope, or arrived without its original author, we can take it over and carry it through review.
Coordination, not overlap
We work alongside developers, builders, architects, and other engineers. AXE covers the civil scope; we do not provide architectural design, structural engineering, or land surveying.
