2021 has been a record building season for AXE as we have successfully worked on many single family residence stormwater design projects in Sudden Valley and the greater Lake Whatcom Watershed area in Whatcom County – with over 30 different projects receiving approval for construction in the 2021 Lake Whatcom Watershed season!  If you are planning a project for next year’s watershed window, we recommend starting your plans and the permitting process now! The Watershed Window is closed October 1st through May 31st every year in Whatcom County. Our most successful watershed projects from last year were planned and permitted in the fall leading up to Christmas, beating the New Year’s rush and being able to start construction right when the watershed opened. Contact us now if you want this same success for your project!

If you would like some clarification on what is needed for building in the watershed and the requirements, feel free to reach out to us or Michael Kershner with Whatcom County! Michael is a great resource and is always happy to assist with any Planning or Development in Whatcom County. See his email address below!
